Academic Highlights

As an educator with more than 18 years experience, I have taught at elementary, high school and college levels in a variety of settings, such as residency programs with various state arts councils, as well as workshops and conferences. I have received training in Human Rights, Spanish language and Art education, as well as teacher certification grades K-12. My formal education includes a B.A. in Spanish and Hispanic Studies, and Master of Fine arts in Textile Design and Weaving. I use my conversational skills in Spanish to teach diverse populations, as well as to encourage others to learn a second language.
